Skincare brand Zelens has launched three new sunscreens: the Daily Defence Sunscreen SPF 30 and SPF 50 and Daily Defence Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50. They are formulated to provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays and are suitable for everyday use.  

The eco-friendly Daily Defence Sunscreens are enriched with antioxidants to reduce free radical formation and to prevent sun damage by reinforcing the skin’s natural barrier. The silk touch Daily Defence Mineral Sunscreen is formulated with non-nano zinc particles to combat the signs of premature ageing.  

Dr Marko Lens, founder of Zelens and expert in skin ageing and skin cancer, says: “It has been a long project as I wanted to develop sunscreens containing a new generation of UV filters that provide efficacious sun protection and at the same time respect the environment.  Additionally, added sustainable active ingredients work in synergy to help and repair the skin, while providing superior antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and barrier-reinforcing properties.”
